How it works in Torch

01

Local Windows

Local Windows uses shells and ConPTY pseudoterminals. Environment preferences control new launches without killing existing sessions.

02

WSL and SSH when available

WSL and SSH appear only when qualified; paths, authentication and IDE opening depend on the selected environment.

03

Docker Sandboxes with verifiable state

Docker Sandboxes uses the separate sbx client, creates Torch-owned environments, injects only authenticated Bridge and skill, and confirms deletion.

Choose local Windows, WSL, SSH or Docker Sandboxes according to your available tools.
