Local Windows is the base; WSL, SSH and Docker use specific strategies.
Local Windows
Local processes use the signed-in user’s privileges. Torch does not request administrator elevation or install services or drivers.
WSL and SSH
Opening folders, terminals and IDEs depends on each tool’s actual ability to reach the environment. Detection does not imply universal compatibility.
Docker Sandboxes
Containers need verifiable state and an access strategy. Torch does not claim support when it cannot observe or restore the environment.
